I am not able to come to Wellington on 28 November for the very first public screening of the first of The Hobbit films at the old Embassy Cinema in Wellington. What an enviable event that will be! with most of the cast returning to parade through the city, at last see their work on film and then, knowing those dwarves, a rousing party to follow.
I'll catch up with the news when we all meet in New York for the American premiére. That's on 6th December. The following week, on 12th, there is the royal premiere in London. It's been announced that Prince William and his Kate will be attending. Lucky for us - and for them, of course.
